Hi, I'm Olly.I've made the mistakes, so you don't have to.
I started training at 16, weighing 55kg and insecure about my body. Four years of research, trial and error later, I'm 73kg and I've built a simple system that works. Now I help other people do the same, without the overcomplication.
Sydney, from England
55kg → 73kg
75 Hard, completed
Slow progress.Real progress.
No shortcuts, no overnight change. Just consistency, and learning from every mistake along the way.
To grow,you have to change.
The short version of how I got here, and why I do what I do.
Skinny, insecure, starting out
I started training at 55kg. I didn't like how I looked, and I didn't know where to start.
Hundreds of hours of trial and error
Research, mistakes and plenty of things that didn't work. Slowly, I worked out what does.
Proving it to myself
I completed 75 Hard and shared the whole thing online. It taught me more about discipline than anything else.
A one-way move to Sydney
Same streets, same people, nothing changing. I skipped uni, left England on my own and started again somewhere new.
Olly Taylor Coaching
I'd built a system that worked for me. Now I use it to help people who feel the way I used to.
Not the most impressive transformation online. And that's fine.
Social media is full of people with better genetics, more experience, different goals or chemical assistance. Comparing yourself to them gets you nowhere. The only comparison that matters is yesterday's version of you.
Do less.Get greater rewards.
Most of the fitness industry overcomplicates things. I keep it to three pillars. Master them and the rest follows.
Nutrition
Simple whole foods. Quality over obsessive tracking.
Training
High intensity, low frequency. Fewer sets, heavier load, taken to failure.
Mindset and lifestyle
Treated as equal to the other two, not an afterthought.
